is the number of times they had to poke me at the urgent care to get an IV in me. I'm a hard stick. that was 5 days ago
is the number of times that I cried today.
Is the number of days left to prepare my sacrament meeting talk.
No, I'm not kidding.
I need this pain gone.

12 days??? you've got to be kidding. migraines run in my family...and they're literally HORRIBLE. did the doctors give you immitrex? that's the only thing that works for my mom...but it literally works like a charm. beware: it knocks you out solid. but if you've been suffering like that for 12 days, you'd probably pay any price for it, right? as far as soothing goes, we us warm, warm washcloths and put them over our forehead/eyes. i get my migraines in teh back of my eyes- so i heat up a washcloth in the microwave for about 2 minutes or so (till it's really warm) and i put it over my eyes while lying down. it is soooo soothing. my mom is in NY right now- but i'll try calling her tomorrow to get some more tips for you. i'm so sorry deb! hope it doesn't last much longer. love you guys so much!
one more thing about the immitrex: it is really really painful. in fact, for about 10 minutes after the shot, it hurts like crazy. again, that pain is worth it when you've been suffering like you have. (maybe you already know all of this and have taken the immitrex already. if so, ignore all of this :) )
I just talked to Dan, and he told me you still had a migraine!! This is NUTS!! Is there anything I can do for you? Wanna send Natalie down here? Ellie would love it!! I'll even come and get her (no school today!!).
i'm soooo sorry. my sis inlaw gets bad migraines she says diet coke and excedrin...but i'm sure you have tried that. good luck:(
